Elder Hosts

Requirements

• Must be over 50.

• Have Homeowners or Renters Insurance.

• Have a spare private bedroom and (ideally, but not required) bathroom for guests.

Responsibilities

• Cleanliness - especially fresh bedding, towels, and a clean bathroom for guests.

• Quiet, Restful Environment, Privacy - let the Guests control the amount of interaction.

• Make sure Guests have access to their room and bathroom if Hosts need to be gone from house.

Hospitality

• Be cordial and accommodating.

• Have a list of local points of interest and activities.

• Provide directions to points of interest.

• Any meals, transportation, or perks offered are at the Hosts option.
